Breakfast recipes for your smoker, grill, and griddle
BBQ Breakfast is a recipe site for people who own a smoker, grill, or flat-top griddle and want to use it before noon. The recipes here are weekend breakfasts cooked outside: egg casseroles that pick up a little smoke, sausage rolls sliced into thick rounds, and griddle spreads big enough to feed a camp site.
Every recipe lists ingredients, numbered steps, a cook temperature, and a typical time range. Smokers and grills run differently, so the recipes also give you a target internal temperature to check with a thermometer instead of trusting the clock alone.

A few rules we cook by
Eggs and ground sausage need to be cooked through. Egg dishes and ground pork are done at 160°F in the center, and an instant-read thermometer is the cheapest way to know for sure. Use mild woods like apple, cherry, or pecan for breakfast, since eggs and cheese soak up smoke quickly and heavy smoke can turn bitter.
